Coordinated internal response for high–impact technical events affecting Amazon’s customers. Developed and improved team–internal tools, including ticket handling automation. Investigated and reported on long–term trends in our ticket handling using our data warehouse and the R statistics package. Addressed low–severity trouble tickets for internal customers. Maintained team documentation.

Web Development Consultant, independent contractor, May 2011–December 2012

Designed and developed member database solution using Ruby on Rails for a private pool club. Worked closely with stakeholders on interaction design, developed structured data model based on legacy forms and spreadsheets, implemented functionality for club managers, members, and physical access control at club.

Technician, Student Diagnostic Center, Hampshire College, January 2010–May 2011

Diagnosed and repaired hardware and software problems in Mac and Windows computers belonging to Hampshire students. Tasks included virus detection and removal, data backup, data rescue, operating system reinstallation, customer service contacts with users. Worked with co-workers and professional IT staff to update web-based ticketing system and make process and workflow improvements.
